吴斌鑫

 

Binxin Wu is a distinguished professor in the research center of fluid machinery engineering and technology. Before joining Jiangsu University, he worked as a senior researcher at Cornell University which is an American private Ivy League. From 2007 to 2015, he had worked at Philadelphia Mixing Solutions (USA) as a senior engineer with an emphasis on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation of mixing and conducting research of bio-renewable energy from anaerobic digestion. Prior to that, he pursued postdoctoral research at several universities in the U.S. and Canada, focusing on diverse applications of CFD in mechanical, biological, environmental, and food engineering. He serves as an associate editor of two scientific journals  ̶ Transactions of the ASABE and Applied Engineering in Agriculture, and has authored /co-authored over 80 journal and conference papers.

Research Focus
Prof. Wu’s research program involves CFD, heat and mass transfer, multiphase flow, turbulence, and rheology. The major CFD applications cover anaerobic digestion, wastewater treatment, biomass gasification, fungal fermentation, livestock ventilation, food processing, and acoustics.

吴斌鑫教授招收计算流体力学及其工程应用的硕士和博士研究生以及博士后研究员。应用领域主要包括生物能源与空化噪声,涉及CFD模拟、PIV测量、传热传质、生物化学反应、湍流、多相流和流变学等学科。与美国康奈尔大学(Cornell University)和阿肯色大学(University of Arkansas)、澳大利亚皇家墨尔本理工大学(RMIT University)以及英国伯明翰大学(University of Birmingham)等世界著名大学开展合作研究,研究生和博士后有机会到这些大学做访问学生/学者。研究团队成员包括:
