On the morning of July 4th, the appointment ceremony of Jiangsu University’s part-time professor Wang Jiabin and the symposium were held in National Research Center of Pumps. Wang Jiabin, the chief engineer of Shandong Shuanglun Co., Ltd., was employed as Jiangsu University’s part-time professor. The symposium was hosted by Zhang Jinfeng, deputy director of Research Center of Fluid Machinery Engineering and Technology.

At the appointment ceremony, Prof. Yuan Jianping presented Wang Jiabin with the badge of Jiangsu University and awarded him the certificate. Prof. Yuan hoped that Prof. Wang Jiabin, as a part-time professor of Jiangsu University, will continue to support the construction and development of the Fluid Center and play a greater role in the scientific and technological progress of the pump industry.

After the ceremony, Prof. Wang Jiabin gave a special report entitled “Application of Reverse Osmosis Seawater Desalination Unit High-pressure Pump and Energy Recovery Technology”. He detailed domestic series of high-efficiency reverse osmosis seawater desalination high-pressure pump products and industrialization. It applies the latest technology of national S&T support topics, combines with the new development trend of the current world's seawater desalination high-pressure pump manufacturing technology. And according to the performance requirements in actual use, through the overall structure, axial force balance device, bearing lubrication method and wear-resistant materials, a large number of research, trial production and test work are carried out. Subsequently, the teachers and students raised many questions and Prof. Wang Jiabin on the spot answered one by one.
