On December 13, 2019, Dai Guirui's academic forum for young teachers (Phase 1) of Jiangsu University was successfully held in Research Center of Fluid Machinery Engineering and Technology. Researcher Li Wei, deputy director of Research Center of Fluid Machinery Engineering and Technology, chaired the academic forum. Associate researcher Zhou Ling and assistant researcher Li Yan made special reports on the optimization design and discrete element simulation of deep-well centrifugal pumps, performance analysis of dynamic pressure gas-floated gyroscope bearings and research on error models.

Dai Guirui's academic forum for young teachers aims to promote the academic style of the founder, Prof. Dai Guirui, further deepen the teaching and educating work of the fluid center, promote the scientific and technological innovation of Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics, and provide communication platform for teachers and students.
