On Oct. 22nd, 2021, National Publishing Fund Project new book launch of ‘Pump and System Theory and Key Technology Series’ and ‘Complete Book of China Drainage and Irrigation Machinery’, jointly sponsored by Research Center of Fluid Machinery Engineering and Technology and Press, was held in the lecture hall of China’s National Research Center of Pumps(NRCP). Secretary of the Party Committee of UJS Prof. Yuan Shouqi, Vice President of UJS Prof. Quan Li, Prof. Wang Fujun of China Agricultural University, Secretary of the Party Committee and director of Shanghai Fire Research Institute of Emergency Management Department Prof. Xue Lin, some leader and teacher representatives of the press, library and fluid center attended this event. The meeting was presided over by the director of the fluid center Prof. Yuan Jianping.

At the meeting, Prof. Quan Li made a welcome speech on behalf of Jiangsu University and expressed gratitude to all experts and scholars for their concern and support to Jiangsu University and Jiangsu University Press. Wang Zaifei, project leader of the National Publishing Fund and director of the press, introduced the details of National Publishing Fund Project. Prof. Yuan Shouqi and President of the press Shi Kang together unveiled the ‘Series Book of Pump System Theory and Key Technology’. Chen Yuandong, Party Branch Secretary of the Press and Chief Editor, donated books to Jiangsu University Library on behalf of Jiangsu University Press.

During the release of the new book ‘Complete Book of China Drainage and Irrigation Machinery’, Xu Fang, President of Vocational Education Branch of Chinese Agricultural Press, introduced the compilation and publication of the book. Prof. Yuan Shouqi and Xu Fang together unveiled the ‘Complete Book of China Drainage and Irrigation Machinery’. Subsequently, President Xu Fang donated books to Jiangsu University Library on behalf of Chinese Agricultural Press.

At last, Yuan Jianping and Shi Kang, on behalf of Research Center of Fluid Machinery Engineering and Technology and the press respectively, signed a framework agreement to comprehensively carry out academic publishing cooperation.
