Recently, the international academic conferen ‘30th IAHR Symposium on Hydraulic Machinery and Systems’ hosted by École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), successfully held a conference via ZOOM. Globally, over 200 industry experts and postgraduates from universities, scientific research institutes and  renowned enterprises engaged in fluid machinery research attended the conference.

Master degree candidate, Chen Jinwei,  is being supervised by Prof. Pei Ji was invited to join the meeting and presented on  a research report titled ‘Multi-Objective Optimization of Efficiency and Pressure Fluctuation for Vertical Inline Pump’. The report received the attention from domestic and foreign colleagues. Our center actively organizes postgraduates to participate in international academic conferences, which does not only demonstrates the scientific research achievements of the fluid center on the international stage, but also improves the international vision of postgraduates.

It is known that IAHR Symposium on Hydraulic Machinery and Systems organized once every two years by the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR), also known as a global event in the field of hydraulic machinery and systems. The conference also focused on the fluid structure coupling, design and optimization, pressure pulsation and vibration, unstable flow, hydraulic wear and corrosion, advanced computational simulation technology and experimental technology of turbine and pump. Meanwhile, it also displayed the latest research results and development trend of the industry.
