Delegates of the Research Center attended the Tenth National Symposium on Hydraulic Machinery

On September 22nd -25th, the Symposium on Development Strategy of Hydraulic Machinery and the Tenth National Symposium on Hydraulic Machinery and Systems were held at Dalian University of Technology. The conference was sponsored by the Department of Engineering and Material Science, National Natural Science Foundation.

Professor Yuan Shouqi, Yuan Jianping, Zhang Desheng and other teachers or students were invited. More than 270 professors, engineers and other doctoral and graduate students from national key universities, enterprises and institutions attended the conference. Professor Xavier Escaler, associate professor of Technical University of Catalonia, Spain, Tan Daqing, chief engineer of Harbin Electric Machinery Co., Ltd., Yu Hongchang, general manager of Shenyang Blower Group Nuclear Power Company, and other 12 well-known experts and professors were invited to give plenary reports including the report entitled "Swarm Intelligence Optimization and Flow-Induced Characteristics in Centrifugal Pumps" given by Professor Pei Ji from Research Center of Fluid Machinery Engineering and Technology of Jiangsu University.

Experts and scholars discussed the development strategy of hydraulic machinery, including internal fluid dynamics in hydraulic machinery, cavitation and erosion, and optimization design etc. The conference promoted academic communication and cooperation in the field of China's hydraulic machinery and systems. Furthermore, the domestic peers can explore the development strategy of the field of hydraulic machinery and systems, providing better service for the national economic and social development.
