From October 22nd to 26th, the Global Engineering Congress was held in London, England. The congress presented international awards selected by World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO). Dr. Zhou Ling, who comes from Research Center of Fluid Machinery Engineering and Technology in Jiangsu University, won the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Young Engineer Award.
It is reported that the World Federation of Engineering Organizations is the world's largest engineering international organization. It was established in 1968 with the initiative and support of United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). It’s headquartered in Paris, France. And WFEO has extensive influence in the field of international engineering. It is an advisory body to UNESCO and the United Nations Industrial Development and Economic and Social Council.
