On May 9th, the "Strengthening the Nation" Initiative Teams, composed of Party Branch Secretaries of university teacher communities under China’s "Double-Leader Teacher Party Branch" project, convened in Suzhou for a collaborative event. The teams included members from Jiangsu University’s Fluid Center Industry Service and Research Translation Party Branch, the nationwide "Strengthening the Nation" Initiative Team for "Double-Leader Teacher Party Branch" Secretaries, and the Electromechanical Party Branch of the School of Intelligent Equipment Engineering at Changzhou Vocational Institute of Information Technology. Together, they organized a specialized activity titled "University-Enterprise Cooperation: Paving the Way for the Future -- Jointly Advancing Deep Integration of Technological and Industrial Innovation." Participants included Zhu Yong, Secretary of Jiangsu University Fluid Equipment Industry Service and Research Translation Party Branch; Associate Professor Gao Qiang; Tu Qin, Secretary of the Electromechanical Party Branch of Changzhou Vocational Institute of Information Technology; and faculty representative Dong Xinyu.

The "Strengthening the Nation" Initiative Team first visited Xunshi Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. and Suzhou Dongling Vibration Test Equipment Co., Ltd., engaging in in-depth discussions under the theme of "University-Enterprise Cooperation: Jointly Advancing Deep Integration of Technological and Industrial Innovation." These discussions focused on addressing key bottlenecks and challenges within the pump and valve industry, particularly in the "technology research-results transformation-industrial application" chain. The team sought actionable measures to promote a dual-driven approach of technological and industrial innovation, aiming to advance the integration of the pump and valve industrial chain in the Yangtze River Delta region.
During the visit to Xunshi Technology, Zhang Zhijun, Chairman and Founder of the company, provided a detailed overview of technological demands in developing and manufacturing critical pump and valve products for the semiconductor industry, particularly the challenges surrounding high-purity fluoroplastic fluid products. The "Strengthening the Nation" Initiative Team emphasized that ultra-clean systems, automation, and intelligent solutions are the core directions for the future development of the semiconductor pump and valve industry. They highlighted that universities play an essential role in technological innovation, while enterprises are the driving force behind industrial innovation. By leveraging their respective strengths, universities and enterprises should work collaboratively to achieve deeper integration between technological and industrial innovation. Drawing on prior technological reserves, the team proposed targeted solutions to address existing challenges and advocated for university-enterprise cooperation to accelerate technological iteration, promote the application of research outputs, and overcome critical technological barriers in the semiconductor pump and valve sector.

Following the discussion, the Initiative Team conducted field visits to production sites and research labs, gaining firsthand insights into production lines and the core component development laboratories. They thoroughly investigated the company’s technological challenges and innovation needs, offering a series of on-the-spot improvements.

At Suzhou Dongling Vibration Test Equipment Co., Ltd., the "Strengthening the Nation" Initiative Team presented the latest research findings and advocated for university-enterprise collaboration to facilitate technological iteration and research application. They emphasized the importance of innovation-driven integration to foster new forms of productivity. Ye Tengbo, Chief Engineer of Dongling Vibration, expressed the company’s willingness to work hand-in-hand with various stakeholders to integrate university and enterprise resources. Ye called for joint efforts to focus on core technologies for multi-degree-of-freedom high-frequency vibration test platforms, aiming for deep mutual empowerment through "aligning the innovation chain with the industrial chain and vice versa."

This specialized activity serves as a critical component of Jiangsu University’s Fluid Equipment "Strengthening the Nation" Initiative series. It marks a substantial step forward in Jiangsu University’s commitment to advancing the deep integration of technological and industrial innovation. The event aligns with the Ministry of Education’s call to implement the national "Strengthening the Nation" Initiative for Party Branch Secretaries among university teachers under the "Double-Leader Teacher Party Branch" framework. Furthermore, it demonstrates Jiangsu University Fluid Center’s innovative exploration of integrating Party-building with professional development, forming a synergistic approach that promotes mutual advancement.
