On Mar. 10th, an industry-university-research collaboration meeting was held between the fluid center and China State Shipbuilding Chongqing Intelligent Equipment Engineering Design Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as CSSC). Party secretary of Jiangsu University Yuan Shouqi, Party secretary of the fluid center Zhang Desheng, general manager of CSSC Liu Qiang, general manager assistant Liu Haichuan and relevant technical representatives of both sides participated in this meeting. The meeting was presided over by Zhang Desheng.
At first, Yuan Shouqi delivered a welcome speech on behalf Jiangsu University. He thanked CSSC for its long-term support and trust in Jiangsu University. He also briefly introduced the development achievements of the university, pump technology research team building, industry service, and international cooperation in recent years. He wished that the fluid center could reinforce in-depth industry-university-research collaboration with CSSC so as to carry out the research of new technologies and products such as marine LNG low-temperature submersible pump, and to speed up the research and development process of marine large-scale high-end LNG pump and device technology by relying on major national engineering projects. It could realize the transformation and industrialization of achievements, and serve the implementation of China ‘carbon emission peak and carbon neutrality’ strategy.
Subsequently, Liu Qiang introduced the development of the product businesses and the product planning of a series of LNG pumps. He fully affirmed the scientific research achievements of the fluid center in the pump industry over these years, and the relevant technologies have been applied in China's nuclear power, thermal power, chemical and other key core equipment, supporting the development of national key industries. He wished that the two sides would further strengthen close ties and deepen industry-university-research cooperation and talent training.
In the end, Zhang Desheng introduced the general situation of National Research Center of Pumps and the related research progress of LNG cryogenic submersible pumps. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on cooperation methods. After the meeting, they visited the laboratory of National Research Center of Pumps.
This exchange activity was a good start to promote deeper and broader cooperation between the two sides. It has also laid a good foundation for our fluid machinery and engineering discipline to carry out in-depth industry-university-research cooperation with industry leading enterprises.
