On the morning of May 10, a grand session which was to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League of China was held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. President Xi attended the meeting and delivered an important speech, charting a new future for the Chinese youth movement. In order to further feel the great achievements made by the Communist Youth League of China in the past 100 years, to thoroughly study and implement the new thinking of China's youth work in the new century, and to promote the construction of a strong socialist country, the fluid center organized teachers and students to watch the live broadcast of the plenary session. He made a special mention of the magnificent epic composed by the young people in their unremitting struggle on the socialist road, and put forward four wishes for the young people in their new century's striving.
After the live broadcast, Zhang Desheng made a concluding speech. He stressed that looking forward to the future, China's youth will have great prospects and achievements.
