The International Youth Academic Salon of the National Research Center of Pumps was held successfully in the meeting room on 8th of June. The Post-doctor Christopher from India, the Post-doctorBakri from Sudan, Dr. Darko from Ghana, Distinguished Professor Binxin Wu from America and some other young researcher and students from Europe gave the presentations for the students in the research center. Some young researchers such as the Associate Director Jinfeng Zhang, associate professor Zhongyong Pan, who having the experience of studying abroad attended the salon.

The International Youth Academic Salon was started from the research work on side channel pump of Dr. Fan Zhang. The research contents, lifestyle and the education characteristics of foreign countries were discussed in the salon, and the topics that the students are interested were discussed. The salon supplies a new communication platform in the National Research Center of Pumps. The International Youth Academic Salon has broadened the horizons of the young researchers and has a positive effect on the international university environment.
