The China Scholarship Council recently announced the funding list for the 2024 International Cooperation Training Program for Innovative Talents, in which the Fluid Center's application for the joint training project of innovative talents in intelligent and efficient fluid machinery equipment and technology has been granted rolling funding for the second phase. The funding period is three years (2024-2026), allowing for the selection of 10 graduate students and young faculty members each year to participate in joint training or exchange visits at designated overseas universities.
The Innovative Talent International Cooperation Training Program is an important category of funding for studying abroad supported by the China Scholarship Council, with a project execution period of three years. The project unit is responsible for the main duties of implementing the approved project, selecting and managing personnel. The joint training project for innovative talents in intelligent and efficient fluid machinery equipment and technology is applied for and managed daily by the Fluid Center. It was first approved in December 2020, and the first phase concluded in 2023, during which 20 graduate students were successfully sent for joint training at three cooperating universities, achieving commendable training results.
The rolling funding of this project has been fully affirmed by the China Scholarship Council, which will help further enhance the international training quality of graduate students at the Fluid Center.
