On June 18, the inaugural meeting of the Green Nuclear Energy Innovation Technology Joint R&D Center was held in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu. Attendees included Shang Xianhe, General Manager of CNNC Nuclear Power Operation Management Co., Ltd.; Liu Dejun, Deputy Director of the Technical Department; Xing Ji, Chief Expert of CNNC; Du Shuhong, Deputy Chief Engineer of CNNC Engineering; Liu Liping, Director of the Science and Technology Department; Song Jianjun, Deputy Director of the Beijing Nuclear Engineering Research and Design Institute; Bai Wei, Director of the Public Systems Department; Qu Changming, Deputy Director of the Systems and Layout Department; Zhang Rongyong, Director of the Cold Source Center; Xing Weihong, President of Jiangsu University; Li Hong, Vice President; Yuan Shouqi, Director of the National Research Center of Pumps; Director Yuan Jianping and relevant department leaders and faculty members of Research Center of Fluid Machinery Engineering and Technology; Lu Jinqi, Chairman of Shanghai Apollo Machinery Co., Ltd.; and Yao Xueliang, Chief Engineer of Shanghai Apollo Machinery Co., Ltd. The meeting was presided over by Yuan Jianping.

On behalf of the university, Li Hong welcomed the visiting leaders and experts, and expressed gratitude for the long-term concern and support from various units. He briefly introduced the establishment of the "Green Nuclear Energy Innovation Technology Joint R&D Center," which is jointly built by CNNC Nuclear Power Operation Management Co., Ltd., China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., Jiangsu University, and Shanghai Apollo Machinery Co., Ltd. The center aims to fully implement the national innovation-driven development strategy, better promote the "dual carbon" strategy, enhance the safety and economy of nuclear power, improve social and economic benefits, and jointly promote national scientific and technological progress.

Key representatives from each member unit, including Shang Xianhe, General Manager of CNNC Nuclear Power Operation Management Co., Ltd.; Xing Ji, Chief Expert of CNNC; Yuan Shouqi, Director of the National Research Center of Pumps; and Lu Jinqi, Chairman of Shanghai Apollo Machinery Co., Ltd., delivered speeches marking the official launch of the center. The attending leaders and experts conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the construction and development of the center. During the meeting, heads of each unit signed the cooperation framework agreement for the Green Nuclear Energy Innovation Technology Joint R&D Center.
