On August 16, the appointment ceremony of Jiangsu University Distinguished Academician was held in National Research Center of Pumps. Prof. Wang Hao, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and China's famous hydrology and water resources experts, employed as Jiangsu University’s Distinguished Academician. At the ceremony, Jiangsu University Chair, Prof. Yuan Shouqi, awarded Wang Hao the certificate and presented him with the badge of Jiangsu University.

At the ceremony, Prof. Yuan Shouqi firstly expressed his heartfelt congratulations to Academician Wang Hao on the appointment of the Distinguished Academician of Jiangsu University. He expressed his sincere gratitude to Academician Wang Hao for his concern and help to Jiangsu University and the development of fluid discipline. Subsequently, Zhang Desheng, the secretary of Party Committee, introduced the general situation of Jiangsu University, and the construction and development of National Research Center of Pumps.

Finally, Academician Wang Hao delivered a warm speech. He hoped that the teams will be able to further deepen cooperation and give full play to their respective characteristics to contribute to the development of China's water resources. At the same time, Academician Wang also put forward valuable suggestions for the future research and development direction of fluid discipline, and provided an important reference for the further analysis and expansion of the discipline direction.
