In the evening of June 15, 2021, the leading ‘San Quan’ education team of Prof. Zhang Desheng’s comprehensive reform and demonstration graduate-tutor-group held a  farewell party for 2021 graduands, called ‘Dream in midsummer’. The party is categorised into six parts namelyvideo memories, teacher messages, graduation blessings, graduation sharing, exclusive gifts, games and lucky draw. All teachers and students of the research group participated in the activity.

       To begin with, the evening party broadcasted a video of graduates from enrollment to graduation. This video entails every bit of their academic study and life in school, and recalled the endless memories of their lives.

During the interaction between the teachers and students, the team leader Mr. Zhang Desheng firstly congratulated students on their successful graduation, and expressed his profound gratitude to the graduates for their contributions to the center and the research group. He wished the graduates the best of luck in the future and a successful career pursuit. He then hasten to add these three ardent hopes: first of all, one should have a dream in mind. Graduation is not the end, but a new starting point of life. It is a new journey to fly independently without parents and tutors. We should have a goal which is integrated with the Chinese dream, and make more contributions to the country and industry as a whole; Secondly, one should continue to struggle. We should have a clear career plan, learn from leaders, colleagues and peers, and make continuous progress in our work; Thirdly, one should integrate into the society. Learn to behave, learn to communicate, have a good team spirit and adapt to the social family as soon as possible.

Subsequently, the  graduands expressed their heart-warming felicitations to the school and teachers, and shared their experience in scientific research and job hunting with younger students. The graduands stressed that they should cherish their three years on campus, communicate more with the tutors and classmates of the research group, and create a good research atmosphere for the research group. For younger students who are going to work, they should participate in more scientific research competitions, enrich their resumes, and take the initiative to find suitable job opportunities. For the younger students who are about to go to college, they should publish more high-level articles, write more patents, and constantly improve their ability in the process of writing.

   The climax of the party was the game and the lucky draw. The teachers and four teams of students from all grades competed in the same field and played a number of interactive games. The scene was full of laughter and the atmosphere was very harmonious.

The success of the party has created a warm graduation atmosphere for the graduands. The evening party ended in people's endless desire, but what would never end is our sincere wishes to the graduands: May you step on a bright and promising road, realize your ideal as soon as possible, and make positive contributions to the development of the water pump industry.
