On June 19, Professor Yuan Shouqi, Secretary of the Party committee of Jiangsu University, led the team to investigate Chongqing Water Pump Plant Co., Ltd. to further deepen the school enterprise cooperation and sign strategic cooperation agreement. Li Fang zhong, chairman of the board of Chongqing Water Pump Plant Co., Ltd., and Peng Zhong, general manager, warmly received Prof. Yuan Shouqi and his team. Ren Xudong, director of Science and Technology Department, Li Wei, director of the school general mechanical and electrical factory, and relevant teachers of Fluid Center and Automotive Engineering Research Institute  were all in attendance.

        At the meeting, Prof. Yuan Shouqi signed a strategic cooperation contract with Li Fangzhong. Li Fangzhong however extended a warm welcome to our school representatives and introduced the basic state of Chongqing Water Pump Plant Co., Ltd. He proposed to carry out a comprehensive cooperation with our school in the quest of explicit transformation of scientific and technological achievements, joint technological research and talent training, etc., with the national key research and development project ‘integrated equipment for emergency water supply and purification in mountainous and remote disaster areas’ hosted by Jiangsu University as the link. Yuan Shouqi introduced the main achievements of Jiangsu University in scientific research, talents training and enterprise service, and put forward specific requirements and suggestions for the cooperation between the University and enterprise. Ren Xudong introduced the specific forms of follow-up cooperation. Senior engineer Yang Hailong reported the latest research progress of key R & D projects undertaken by the enterprise.
